Partner and General Director

For 30 years, Fernando Yllanes Martínez has held the position of General Director of our firm, forging with his vision a work team that has been able to guide the firm to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

He was considered Global Leader in 2019 and National Leader in 2020 in Labor Law in Mexico by the international publication Who’s Who Legal.

He has a Law Degree from the University of the New World (UNUM) and a Master in Labor Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, where he is currently a professor. Its specialties include advice, representation in all types of litigation, collective negotiations, the definition of remuneration schemes, reviews and modifications of Collective Labor Contracts and Legal Contracts and restructuring of labor subcontracting schemes.

Fernando Yllanes Almanza is a partner and consulting director of the Yllanes Ramos Law Firm, founded in 1930 in Mexico City. He has extensive experience as an advisor to companies in labor matters, with focus and specialization in complex labor litigation, regulatory compliance with labor and social security laws, negotiations with unions, reviews of collective bargaining contracts, high-level and collective labor terminations, advice in subcontracting schemes, creation and implementation of

Since 2007, Edgar Efraín Castañeda Castañeda has worked as a specialist labor of companies, both in consulting and litigation. In 2016, he joined Yllanes Ramos of which he is currently a Partner and Litigation Director. His career is distinguished by the strategic development and implementation of labor plans, ensuring compliance and risk management in individual, collective and social security areas.
